Brief Job Description:
An Automotive Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems and components in vehicles. This includes tasks like working on wiring systems, batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and electronic control modules. They ensure vehicles are equipped with properly functioning electrical and electronic systems and resolve issues to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical faults.
Installing and maintaining electrical and electronic components.
Conducting routine inspections and testing of electrical systems.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Minimum Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Educational Qualification:
- Preferably Class 10th pass or equivalent.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills may be considered for certain candidates depending on the training provider’s guidelines.
- Experience:
- While no prior experience is mandatory for entry-level candidates, a basic understanding of vehicle systems or prior exposure to technical work can be beneficial.
